David Miliband
Senior AdvisorDavid is a British Labour Party politician who has been a Member of Parliament since 2001. He was Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs from 2007 to 2010, appointed by Prime Minister Gordon Brown. David also held a number of leading government posts during the administration of Prime Minister Tony Blair including Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in 2006. As an advocate for international awareness of climate change and a low-carbon global economy, he spearheaded the world’s first legally binding framework for cutting carbon emissions. David studied at Oxford University and obtained a first class honors degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. He has a Masters degree in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he was a Kennedy Scholar.

Previously he served as CEO of The Climate Group, an independent non-profit organization, working with governments and an influential coalition of CEOs to cut global emissions and build a low-carbon economy. Prior to The Climate Group, Steve spent 15 years advising major corporations, NGOs and United Nations bodies on the environment as a partner at Environmental Resource Management. Previously, he was the founding Director of the Global Forest and Trade Network for World Wildlife Fund International. Steve has degrees in ecology and Environmental Physics (Ph.D.) and was named as one of Britain's top environmentalists by The Independent on Sunday in 2008.

From May 1998 to October 2009, Larry served as Corporate Vice President of Research & Development and Planning/Strategic Planning, reporting directly to the CEO/President. There he helped expand GM R&D to a global organization and increased collaboration with universities, governments and energy companies. Previously, he held a wide range of leadership positions in GM operations, including industrial engineering, quality, production control, planning and product program management. Larry is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley (Ph.D.), the University of Michigan (MS, MPP) and General Motors Institute (now Kettering University) (BS) and co-author of Reinventing the Automobile: Personal Urban Mobility for the 21st Century. He is currently a visiting research professor at the University of Michigan.

William D. Watkins
Senior AdvisorBill is CEO of Bridgelux, Inc and has more than 30 years of experience in the technology manufacturing industry. Before joining Bridgelux, Watkins served as CEO of Seagate Technology, the world’s leading disc drive and storage solutions company from 2004 through January 2009. Prior to the CEO position, he was the company’s president and COO, a position he held since 2000. During that time, he was responsible for the company’s hard-disc drive operations, including recording heads, media and other components, and related R&D and product-development organizations. Watkins joined Seagate in 1996 as part of the company’s merger with Conner Peripherals and earlier in his career, he was part of three management teams that took companies public. Bill attended the University of Texas (BA).
